Privacy notice

Last updated 3 September 2026

This notice explains what happens to the details you send through the booking form on this site. It is short because the site collects very little.

Who is responsible

Harry Craig, trading as Craig Caddying, based in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, decides how the information described here is used. You can reach Harry at harry@craigcaddying.com.

What is collected

Only what you type into the booking form, and nothing else. That is your first and last name, your email address, and the details of the round you are asking about.

  • First name and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone or WhatsApp number, if you choose to give one
  • Preferred date, and tee time if you know it
  • The club you would like to play
  • Anything you write in the notes field

The phone number, the tee time and the notes are optional. Leaving them blank does not stop your enquiry being answered.

Why it is collected

To reply to your enquiry and to arrange a round. The information is not used for marketing, it is not added to a mailing list, and it is never sold or shared for advertising.

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation the lawful basis is that these are steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and Harry's legitimate interest in answering enquiries about his work.

Who else sees it

Three services handle the enquiry on its way to Harry. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job.

  • Netlify (opens in a new tab) hosts this site and stores the form submission so it is not lost if an email fails.
  • Resend (opens in a new tab) sends the two emails, one confirming receipt to you and one notifying Harry.
  • Harry's email provider, which holds the message in his mailbox in the ordinary way.

The site's words and photographs are managed in Sanity, a content system that holds no personal information about visitors.

Cookies and measurement

This site sets no cookies, uses no analytics, and carries no advertising or social media tracking. Nothing follows you between websites. That is why you were not asked to accept anything when you arrived.

How long it is kept

Enquiries are kept while the round is being arranged and for up to twelve months afterwards, so that a returning player's history is to hand. After that the form submission is deleted from Netlify. You can ask for yours to be deleted sooner at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information held about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. You can also ask that its use be restricted, object to its use, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Write to the email address above and expect a reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with the response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk (opens in a new tab) or on 0303 123 1113.
