Accessibility
Last updated 3 September 2026
This site should be usable whatever device you are on and however you navigate. This page sets out what has been done, what has been checked, and how to tell us when something does not work.
What we aim for
The site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA. That is the standard most public bodies in the UK are held to, and it is a sensible bar for a small business as well.
What is in place
- Every page works from the keyboard alone, in a sensible order, and the item you are on always shows a visible outline.
- A skip link at the top of each page jumps straight past the navigation to the main content.
- Text meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 against its background, and borders and other non-text parts meet at least 3 to 1.
- Photographs carry a written description, unless they are decorative, in which case they are hidden from screen readers rather than described pointlessly.
- The booking form labels every field in visible text, marks the optional ones, and describes any error in words rather than by colour alone.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, the movement on the page stops and everything is shown in its finished position.
- The layout is built for small screens first and reflows to a single column without side to side scrolling.
- Text can be enlarged in the browser without content being cut off.
How it was checked
The site was tested with the axe automated checker, which reported no violations, and by working through every page using only a keyboard. Colour combinations were calculated against the WCAG formula rather than judged by eye. Automated tools catch only part of what matters, so if something reads badly to you, that counts.
Known limitations
None are known at present. The booking form is submitted through Netlify and the confirmation emails are sent through Resend; if either of those services presents you with something you cannot use, please say so and it will be looked into.
Telling us about a problem
If any part of this site is difficult to use, email harry@craigcaddying.com and describe what happened and what you were trying to do. You will get a reply within five working days.
If you would rather not use the form, a round can always be arranged by email, phone or WhatsApp. The numbers are in the footer of every page.
How this page is kept up to date
This statement was prepared on the date shown at the top of the page, and is reviewed whenever the site changes in a way that affects how it is used.
